Cooking Oil Sold Out During Bazaar

The implementation of bazaar at Rambutan Urban Village, Ciracas, East Jakarta, Thursday (9/8) was flocked by the local residents.

Sugar is sold Rp 14,000/kg, while at market is Rp 17,000/kg

Only in two hours, as many as 360 pockets of cooking oil were sold out. Rice and sugar were still available up to 11.30 AM.

Based on Beritajakarta.com’s observation, the bazaar held by PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya was started at 7.30 AM. But the cooking oil was sold out at 9.30 AM. The price of one pocket of cooking oil 1.8 liter is Rp 19,500.

City to Hold Bazaar at 43 Traditional Markets

Dede (35), one of local residents, bought two kilograms of sugar.

“Sugar is sold Rp 14,000/kg, while at market is Rp 17,000/kg,” she said.

Most of the residents hoped similar event can be held routinely at urban village office.

Pangaribuan (27), personnel of PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya, stated his side prepared three commodities like sugar, rice, and cooking oil for the bazaar.
